Blessing of the new Boat Divetime

It was a beautiful setting and our boat was wonderful decorated by Ruta!!! Thank you very much.

We wanted everything very local (cause we are kind of locals) and were very lucky that Papa Ngarima George said yes when we asked him if he could do the blessing for us... this meant a lot... we know him since we are on the island... he was our first maori teacher! with a wide range of local business partners and some very special guests of honour we had a wonderful day!

The Queen of Arorangi Tinoman Ariki accepted our ivitation and our good friend the Queens Representative Tom Marsters took time off his busy schedule!

enjoy the photos...

Divetime our brand new dive boat

24 foot custom build diveboat with a 200hp motor magnifier

finally our new beauty has arrived here in Rarotonga beginning January 2015... it was a long process: in 2013 we decided that we would need a backup boat for Totara. So Sascha surfed the net and inquired with different companies in order to build us our "dream boat" .... took us a while but finally we found the right boat builder who where able to fulfill  all our wishes in regards of what we wanted... the result you see here... Divetime arrived after a couple of speed bumps on Tuesday morning here in raro and yesterday we where able to bring her home... the photos show you the process of her to be build!!! with 24 foot long we are now able to give our guests more space on the boat and we can even take all tanks for a two tank dive (if we are diving on the west side) so we don't have to come back to shore anymore... also for the wintertime we have covers in case it's raining :-). with a 200hp mercury motor its made sure sascha can still speed as much as he like :-) (just kidding).. here she is   "Divetime"
